This policy provides details about choices you can make with regards to  how we gather and use information about you (“Personal Data”).

How do we collect data?

NextRTB uses the following technologies to collect data and store it on user’s device:  cookies, tags, and mobile SDKs.

What is cookies? Cookies are small text files that contain a string of characters, stored in the user’s device. They allow us to identify and remember the user’s browser, preferences and other information.

What is NextTAG? NextTAG  is a small piece of code that is inserted into a Client’s website source code, which allows them to have access and manage our services.

What is SDK? An SDK, or Software Development Kit, is the software used by our Clients to integrate Smart to their mobile application (iOS and Android).

Web beacons are used to help our Clients understand how visitors interact with their websites. Pixel tags are transparent images, iFrames, or JavaScript that are placed on a site. The use of a pixel tag allows a website to measure the actions of the visitor opening the page that contains the tag

What data do we process?

The data we will process for the purposes stated further on in this page is limited to the business contact data related to the company, entity or organization you work for or with whom you collaborate.

Your financial data or any data related to financial activities is protected by our MSA, NDA, IO and Terms & Conditions documents. 

Your business contact data is processed with the exclusive purpose of maintaining the commercial, contractual or collaborative relationships that NextRTB has with you or the company, entity or organization you work for or collaborate with.

Furthermore, and in the event that you or said company, entity or organization are an NextRTB customer, we may use your business contact data or such in the company, entity or organization you work for or collaborate with, to send commercial communications regarding activities of our entity that are of a similar nature to those that motivate the existing relationship between our entity and you or the company, entity or organization that you work for or collaborate with.

The processing of your business contact data relative to maintaining the relationship between EXOCLICK and you or the company, entity or organization you work for or collaborate with responds to a legitimate interest of our organization, specifically recognized in the privacy regulation.

The processing of your personal data in order for EXOCLICK to send promotional information regarding activities similar to those that motivate the relationship with you or the company, entity or organization you work for or collaborate with, responds to a legitimate interest of our entity and is authorized by the existing regulation.

You may object to receiving commercial communications about the products and services of NextRTB now or at any time by sending an email with such objection to contact@nextrtb.com.

The data we will process has been obtained through your browsing information archive files, as informed via the cookies policies of the websites of each of our Publishers (websites/mobile applications which show our or third party ads). The data obtained is: 

  • IP address;
  • cookie information, for example your unique browser ID;
  • technical information about the device: browser, operating system, screen size;
  • information about the geographic location of the device when it accesses a website;
  • pseudonymous ID of audience segmentation (if the website uses this type of system);
  • information about other identifiers assigned to the device (IDFA, AAID);
  • information about the user’s activity on the device, including web pages and mobile apps visited or used.

Please note that as part of our Services we do not collect any information that could directly identify you. This means we do not know who you are. We do not know your address, your place of work, your date of birth, your email address, or your phone number. We do not collect sensitive information (such as your religious affiliation, political opinions or health details). We do not create segments to specifically target children under 16 years old.

In some cases, if our Client requests it, and if you gave your clear and informed consent during the course of our Services, we will analyze your information to build individual profiles. These profiles will be used to predict future interests and display targeted advertisements, with the aim of providing you with relevant and interesting offers. The profiling is based on your behavior on our Client’s website. As we do not collect information to directly identify you (your name, for example), we expect that our Services will have no further impact, other than providing you with a good user experience when visiting our Clients’ websites or mobile applications.

Why do we collect data and on which grounds it will be processed?

NextRTB  does not gain, store or process information unless it is used for the following purposes:

  1. To perfom, secure, amend and improve our Services to our Clients, such as managing, maintaining, reinforcing our Platform;
  2.  To customization of ads to different targeting options including a particular location, device types, browser versions, etc.;
  3. To provide interest-based advertising and improve the relevancy of ads;
  4. To adjust frequancy capping limits and traffic quality filters;
  5. To report aggrigated statistics on campaign performance. 
Legal Grounds we rely on:

user consent, if required; or our legitimate interests to make a decision which advertiser and offer wins an auction to pay for advertsing inventory and optimize the real-time purchase to sell advertising inventory.

Who can have access to your personal data?

NextRTB may share information, icluding Personal Data with:

-trusted third party service providers, such as hosting, internet connectivity, white-label software developers, trusted business partners to improve our product and services.

We also may disclose information if:

  • we are required by national or international law or legislation to do so;
  • we must comply with authorized request or demand;
  • it is necessary in order to defend our own rights or interests.

Also, we may transfer your data to a successor entity in case of corporate merger, consolidation, sale of assests, bankruptcy or any other corporate change.

How long do we store data?

All data we collect to provide our services is beign stored between 48 hours and 12 months, depending on the cookie or tag preset.

Once the period of data storage in active use is reached, this data is no longer used but aggregated and compressed for a maximum 36 months due to our security and regulatory purposes. 

We store the following cookies data assosiated with an end-user : unique ID, server SQL ID, browser ID, OS ID, ISP ID, DMA (designated market area), zone ID, postal code, phone prefix, country, region, city, timestamp, connection type, global unique ID cross domains. Technical cookies we collect include sessions cookies to test and perform monitoring scripts and to distribute the traffic between NextRTB servers.

Transfer of personal data outside of the European Union

NextRTB has hired technology service providers located in countries that do not have adequate data protection regulation equivalent to the European (“Third Countries”). These service providers have signed the confidentiality and data processing agreements required by the regulation, which apply the warranties and safeguards needed to preserve your privacy.

When Personal Data may be transferred in the United States of America, we ensure that other party is complying with the Privacy Shield Framework, regarding the collection, use and retention of personal information transferred from the European Union to United States, respectively.

How to opt-out and withdrow a consent?

You can delete cookies at any time using the special settings of your web browser. Given the large number of browsers and versions available on the market, we cannot provide technical assistance on the process of blocking or removing cookies from each of them. For such purposes, you should consult the manuals and support services provided by the manufacturer of the browser that you are using.
